PRI Renewable Energy
PRI Renewable Energy strives to be a force for social change by building affordable housing communities that follow LEED-certified building methods and solar energy solutions that provide relief from escalating environmental costs and concerns. As of 2021, PRI Renewable Energy has installed rooftop and carport solar arrays at six of its affordable housing communities, managing more than 700 kilowatts of operating solar facilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
PRI is working to expand its renewable energy efforts to benefit all of its communities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and remains dedicated to energy conservation and reducing its carbon emissions footprint.
The company has installed solar array solutions to help provide relief from high operating costs. PRI’s solar energy has helped reduce electrical operating costs by 28% at the properties where they are installed and offset the CO2 emissions generated by nearly 430 homes annually, the equivalent of 2.6 million pounds of coal.
